Course Overview

Improvising should not be associated with elevated risk taking. Rather, it is using an alternative set of tools and training to safely carry out a technical rescue. All of the techniques taught in our Improved Rescue course adhere to the foundational standards of technical rescue safety: system safety checks, redundancy, critical point analysis, whistle stop test.
